Forklift loaded on a flatbed tow truck

Forklift & Bobcat Transport

City Tow Truck moves forklifts, skid steers, mini excavators and other small equipment by flatbed between job sites, warehouses, rental yards and repair shops across Greater Vancouver. Equipment is chained down at proper tie-down points and delivered on your schedule.

Why a flatbed

Simple loading, secure transport

Our deck tilts all the way down to the ground, so most forklifts and skid steers can drive or be winched straight on without a loading dock or separate trailer. The machine sits low and level, chained at the manufacturer's tie-down points, and is unloaded the same way at the other end.

It's often cheaper than booking a lowbed for one machine, and quicker to schedule.

Typical jobs

  • Warehouse moves and forklift relocations
  • Equipment to and from the repair shop
  • Rental pickups and returns
  • Delivering a newly purchased machine

For a quote

Send us these details

  1. Make, model and approximate operating weight
  2. Whether it runs and drives under its own power
  3. Pickup and drop-off addresses and any site access rules
  4. Forks, buckets or attachments that travel with it

If a machine is too heavy for our medium-duty flatbed, we'll tell you upfront rather than risk an unsafe load.

FAQ

Equipment transport questions

Is flatbed towing safe for forklifts and Bobcats?

Yes. The machine is chained down at its tie-down points so it can't shift, and it rides above road debris on a level deck.

Can you move two machines at once?

Sometimes, if their combined size and weight fit the deck rating. Send both models for a quote.

Can you move a machine that won't run?

Often, yes, using the winch. Tell us if the wheels or tracks are locked.
